Updated Vintage Shelf

Betty Gram let me buy this little vintagey-arts and crafts movement shelf from her for $6.00 last fall. Now, after some little nails to re-inforce it, sanding, caulking, wood putty filler, sanding, priming, more sanding, 1st coat of cream and lastly the 2nd coat - it looks grand! I am pleased with the rich buttery creamy color. A little darker than I had anticipated, but none the less charming.

The shows are a good source of encouragement, especially when I am tired of waging war on the dust bunnies in our house. I led an all out asault upon my closet this week-end. I was surprised to see all the dust which had collected at the back.

Let me encourage you to get after your own home's dust bunnies...they may be lurking in the strangest of places!
