Dashed up to a favorite quilt shop recently in a neighboring country town. I noticed several things for the first time:  the antique door with a fascinating iron pull and the ancient scrabble game in the shop window. So quaint!

Heavenly Sandwich

Yes, you guessed it! That's an avocado sandwich with buttermilk bread, real mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic and a spritz of lemon juice. Weird? Maybe. But quite delicious! 

Winter Textures

The winter landscape inspired this ensemble. Cable sweater, embroidered jacket and soft cappuccino scarf. The herringbone skirt and leather shoes are not shown, but I'm sure you can imagine.
